Axarquía Heritage Trail

Where you only hear birds singing mixed with gentle sound of running water.... Good news! Malaga Provincial Council has completed the conditioning of a new path between Canillas de Albaida (Cómpeta) and Árchez (SL-A 277), called ‘Ruta de los Molinos. Río Turvilla ’, which serves to enhance the natural environment of the river, showing the old flour mills that were used in the area and the first light factory in Axarquía. In addition, this action allows both municipalities to be connected with the Gran Senda de Málaga.
